    Good morning

    Just off to the hospital for my appointments.

    1. Melanoma clinic to see surgeon and get the results of my SNB.
    2. Plastic surgery clinic
    3. Dressings clinic.

    I am going armed with a stack of questions for everyone and anyone who ends up sitting in front of me with my notes!!!!

    The sun is shining. Hopefully this is a good omen.

    Good evening.

    I have managed to find a photo of the original mole. It look a big messy as its post biopsy but its not that different to how i presented it to my GP. I had split it open while getting out the shower before xmas last year and never really healed. 2 months ago i showed my GP... the rest as they say is history.

    Good afternoon.

    Just back from plastic dressings clinic. 2 and a half hours the appointment took.

    1. the wound was undressed. it was half full of brown fluid exudate crap stuff. The graft has pretty much come away at the top 3rd or more of the wound. It was all cleaned and dried up. More sluff removed and a random stitch removed. (anyone hear me scream?) The wound was then lined with BiataneAG, packed with gauze, then …

    Hi

    Just got back from having the dressings changed. At the walk in clinic they use metapore to line and pack the wound then surgipads etc and a top layer of gauze and double tubigrip!

    Hi eveyone

    1. The redness around the wound has now gone and was probably a reaction to the keltostat on good skin. the nurse who redressed the wound today said that she was amazed that keltostat was used as there was no bleeding.
    2. As the time has gone by the pain levels have increased. I am now on Diclofenic 50mg 2x a day and Paracetomol 500mg up to 6 a day as required. If i go to the dressing clinic i usually take the…
