    Hi... sorry been a while since i have posted an update and some new photos but here are 2 from today.

    Leg and foot near the wound very sore and numb but keeping leg elevated as much as i can.

    Dressing wound myself other than days when i am at the hospital. Still a lot of sluff left and thats something i am not going to be picking off myself.

    Anyway here are the pics...

    Good afternoon

    Had to go back and have the dressing changed even though i did it myself last night.

    We have now ditched the tubigrip as being hinderance rather than help. It has given me a pressure sore which has been dressed seperately.

    Wound is looking better and the nurse has given me dressing trays and pretty much everything i need to dress it myself for 1 week. She also recommend showering the whole leg and…

    Good morning...

    thank goodness for the nhs walk in centre. its not somewhere that i want to be a regular but i know the names of all the nurses now!

    fortunately it was a case of looking worse than it actually was. the nurse wasnt impressed with my trial day back at work leaving home at 6.30am, a busy day at work and getting home at 7pm.  the tubigrip was a total mess of different fluids and soaking!

    HAS BEEN A LITTLE SILLY TODAY.

    WENT TO WORK FOR A TRIAL DAY. 

     WHEN I GOT HOME I TOOK MY SHOES OFF AND SOCK AND THE TUBIGRIP IS SOAKED WITH LYMPH FLUID!!!! WAS A BUSY DAY AND DIDNT REALLY THINK ABOUT MY LEG... OK IT WAS ACHING BUT IT DOES WHEN IM RESTING IT TOO.

    AM BACK ON THE DICLAFENIC....

    4 DAYS TO GET OVER IT BUT I GOTTA TAKE THINGS MORE SENSIBLY I THINK!

    BIT DEPRESSED....
