Week by week its looking better. Bet you never thought it would heal up! BUT make sure you rest. Just cos your lovely mum and dad have gone home, we will nag you every day now to make sure you look after yourself.

I'm just back from a weekend in Dublin, pure pleasure. We were due to cruise down to Israel and Egypt but it was cancelled due to the volcanic ash. Full refund from the travel company but I lost £97 insurance. We'll look to book another cruise in September, hopefully the volcano will have settled by then and I can get us a cheap deal. Fortunately I can more or less take time off when I want as long as it doesn't clash with my boss.

Peter, have you considered looking at a break once you are healed? Planning it now may give you something else to focus on and you will have earned it.

hi sharry .... glad you seemed to have had a good time even if it wasnt your first plan and at least you got something back... im the same with my boss about taking time off...

i want to take time now to heal but i need to work or i will pull my hair out. cant say its doing me any good... leg hurts like hell by the time i get home and also in the morning.

i am doing my own dressings now but its not easy and i think i did todays too tight... im suffering now but its not something you want to keep opening and redoing...

hi tweety pie! ah ahahh  i am glad i have been taking all these pics... at times when i cant see the light at the end of the tunnel i look back and remember how it was.. then i am more positive.. when its all over and healed i will write that article to the papers... its pretty my written in this blog... i would hope they woul be able to extract from it
