Stop this ride....I want to get off !!!

  • An unexpected day out.

    Wednesday 1st February.

Today I got up feeling niggly, actually I'd been awake since 4am and didn't get to sleep until well after 1am, that could explain why, damn those steroids. Oh and the hot flushes I was getting all night too.

Hubby must have picked up on it although I was trying to be normal, he phoned his friends and arranged a time to visit and see the new puppy they got on Sunday. We'd decided last…

    Sunday 29 January 2017.

I've been away at our younger daughters since last Sunday, it was a lovely few days, my husband nearly finished her kitchen and I did a lot of cooking and shopping and we all relaxed in the evenings together with good food and a film. It was so nice.

Since my last chemo session I've hardly been at home, it's gone by in a flash and it's done me the…

  • A pleasant Saturday...but,

    Saturday 21st January.

Today has been a pleasant day, we met a friend at the beach and then walked along the coast path with the dogs high above the sea looking down and along the cliffs and beaches, it was glorious. We had a lovely pub lunch. The two hour walk was easy, it was very hilly at one point. It was reassuring that I managed the walk just as well as I did before I was diagnosed with cancer. We came home…
