I had my last dose of Capecitabine on Friday and I'm now enjoying my 7 days 'off'' before it starts all over again so I thought I'd pause a minute and take stock of where I am.

Last weekend I attended the Isle of Wight music festival and had a great time watching The Who, Queen and the Stereophonics plus loads of other bands. Even though it had been booked before I was diagnosed I was determined to…

So much more settled in my mind now I've got a timetable…

Still no appointment with my oncologist.

I phoned the specialist nurse on Thursday who informed me nothing was 'on the system' and it takes one to two weeks for an appointment.

Not quite what I was told at my appointment the previous Friday.

I'm finding the waiting incredibly frustrating.

After my initial diagnosis (over a month ago) friends and family are asking 'when is your treatment starting…
