Well it's now 4 weeks since the operation. I have had a proper bath every day since Saturday. I have soaked the wound and now moisturise it often during the day. It is tender and I am struggling to walk properly unassisted so physio was recommended. Guess what - end of June is the soonest I can get. I tried my BUPA cover and there are no BUPA registered physiotherapists on IOM! Looks like I'll have to foot the bill…

To all my Wonderful Friends who have really helped with this. I can now start to accept my new leg. I can see the daily improvement and I know from last time that the resultant scar will improve as the years go by.
