Well it's now 4 weeks since the operation. I have had a proper bath every day since Saturday. I have soaked the wound and now moisturise it often during the day. It is tender and I am struggling to walk properly unassisted so physio was recommended. Guess what - end of June is the soonest I can get. I tried my BUPA cover and there are no BUPA registered physiotherapists on IOM! Looks like I'll have to foot the bill. No free prescriptions, no physio - why do I live here? Anyway here goes - especially for Peter..... I remove the dressing for as long as possible during the day and then wrap it up at myself to go to bed - just so I can protect it. I think it's doing pretty well considering how it looked 4 weeks ago. Me too - I'm much more positive - just wish I wasn't so tired! Anyway, hope this doesn't put you off your tea! Best of luck to all those waiting for results, and keep smiling!
