3 weeks after operation - graphic pictures - beware

Less than one minute read time.

To all my Wonderful Friends who have really helped with this.  I can now start to accept my new leg.  I can see the daily improvement and I know from last time that the resultant scar will improve as the years go by.  I have included a pic of my graft donor site which my darling Dougie (my cat) stuck his claw in today and made bleed!  No serious harm done- it was his show of affection!  The other pics - if I get this right - are of my calf.  I see my consultant tomorrow and fingers crossed it will be good news - all the signs are good so far so I have no reason to expect anything else!  My heart goes out to everyone out there who has been touched by this plague.

Have been a coward and not looking at your pics, just because I been feeling sick with my chemo for breast cancer.  Think you are terribly brave dealing with your cancer, and have found you posts inspiring.

Even tho looking through squinty eyes, wlll almost, your leg looks soooo much better!!

    Best wishes to you :-)

Thanks all for your lovely comments.  Marsha - I'll definitely say Hi to Kev from "Sweetie"- also try not to kick him in the face!  When I had my 1st operation in March a nerve had been caught in the stitches - when Kev touched it my reflex was to kick him!  He certainly sorted it when he took over in April!  Must admit, I dread him touching it tonight - I may well thump him as a reflect this time - by accident of course!
