    be warned i'm gonna have a moan! i have had such a bad day /week/year . i went for my mri today and unfortunately i could only arrange babysitting for some of my children so i had to take my youngest with me . my appointment was for 1 pm the receptionist popped her head round the corner at 1.15 then went to lunch 2.30 she comes back no apologies for the wait. i should also explain that i was due to see my macmillan nurse…

    had a really good week side effects from chemo are waring off got my mri results ( pelvic) about 10 days ago , and was told it hasn't shrunk but hasn't got any worse. oh hum chemo hasn't worked but hey it hasn't spread kinda good news . just waiting for my op on the 5th ( already been cancelled twice) . so all the while i've been chemo free i've been enjoying life once more. until.......friday afternoon my postman is…

    well after 4 months of quitting smoking i've been chain smoking my way through the day , says it all really. i was supposed to go into hospital for my radical hysterectomy tomorrow got a phone call this morning my white blood count was -7 too dangerous to do the op . i could of told them that they booked the op for only 3 weeks after my last chemo not enough time for my body to recover. why book it in in the first place…

    got a tough few days ahead of me going totry and keep strong . should be getting my mri and ct results tomorrow the first since chemo , i'm hoping that if the chemo succeeded in knocking out all my red and white cells so well that maybe they destroyed a few cancer ones. does anybody get bads mri's ater chemo? i'm dreading the phone call say 'sorry sam it spread' i would be a basket case then never mind getting me in…
