i got back today from my radical hysterectomy. i feel like i've been hit by a bus and apart from being in severe pain and on morpine for 4 days because of ......wind it went ok . suprisingly the nurses were absolutly brilliant the side room i insisted on ( because of my previous c diff) was lovely . the day of the op was the worst i think , i was told before that it would take 2-3 hours max. i went down at 8 my partner got to the hospital at 10 to wait for me , i came round looked at the clock and it was 2.00 ,my god i thought whats gone wrong 6 flipping hours! anyway it turned it went really well and they only took so long because they wanted to make sure they got it all out. anyway the the stuff they took out has been sent off so now its a waiting game. now at the beginning of this i was told the plan was chemo then operation. then after i finished chemo they said perhaps it would be chemo , operation and maybe radio , today i was told it could be chemo , opertation , more chemo ,then radio . oh they try the patience of a saint!
so what now? i don't know i don't think they do but i'm battered and bruised and safe in the knowledge they can't touch me for a few weeks till i recover, time to enjoy xmas i think. missed you all especially the late night chatroom and thanx to my facebook friends for your kind words of support.
