    Well i have to say i didn't see this coming until it was nearly here

    We were expecting this to run it's course as Oesophagul cancer, closing of the wind pipe being the next stage before a decline, but it seems it's the liver cancer that will do the deed, apparently the nausea is down to the toxins the liver is not getting rid of, basically it's shut down & this is it, the last few days, it was only when the doctor…

  • Few days away & then another twist

    Well we managed to get a few days in the sun, my sis came to stay to cover for me, but as we've come back he's constantly feeling sick, doc has been & prescribed some Buccastem to help, just spent the night here hoping it works, he hasn't eaten or drunk much in about 36 hours, doc said his blood sugar would be rock bottom so that won't help & his blood pressure is low too.

  • My sons 19th today

    Today is my son's 19th birthday & the two of us went this morning to see dad, he seems steady at the moment, giving us hope we will get as much time as possible with him, appetite hasn't improved but he occasionally has a hungry patch, other than that he has his nutritional drinks.

    We keep our fingers crossed.

  • Time passing us by

    It's been a week since I last posted, I think I was at my wits end then, recovered somewhat now.

    Now almost 3 months since the diagnosis, I pledged back then that I'd try & make everyday count & apart from a weeks holiday immediately after the diagnosis, which had been long arranged I think I've been there almost everday.

    As his health is deteriorating I can see some of the fight is going, he's not…
