Well i have to say i didn't see this coming until it was nearly here
We were expecting this to run it's course as Oesophagul cancer, closing of the wind pipe being the next stage before a decline, but it seems it's the liver cancer that will do the deed, apparently the nausea is down to the toxins the liver is not getting rid of, basically it's shut down & this is it, the last few days, it was only when the doctor said he'd visit twice in 24 hours & our McM nurse rang & said she'd see us that afternoon that alarm bells started ringing.
To be honest this maybe the kinder way, the descriptions of the windpipe closing leave you dreading that, so perhaps this is an "easier" route out, we have the whole team on standby, just pick up the phone & they'll be here, for which we are all immensley gratefull
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
