  • day 11 chemo 2 the day of the storm

    What a day of high winds and rain.
    That wind was so bad yesterday--75 miles -100 miles is a nasty damaging wind.
    It first blew all the leaves off the trees and then branches started breaking that they have had to cut all the branches off of a tree on our Park. Mind you they were over 40 feet so it did need pruning a bit.

     
    Well its is still pouring down today there has to be so many floods as the leaves are off the trees…

  • Day 10 Chemo 2 The day of my CAT Scan

    We had to travel to Margate through very high winds and heavy rain. When we arrived in the hospital car park 2 fire engines steamed in and I realized the fire alarms were ringing away. We had to wait to go in and then they informed us the Xray Department had flooded so we couldn't go to that part of the hospital. A nurse asked me where was I going and I answered I had an appointment for a Cat scan, she said to go with…

    I have really slept through that was a good nights sleep with No sickness just great.
    Yesterday
    The weather started of very sunny so it looked like the day was off to a good start , did the washing and soon saw it on the line and blowing in the breeze.
     
    Had a leisurely Breakfast and answered all my emails and dusted around the place, always trying to keep it clean so no germs are hiding as I know I must not catch…
  • Day 8 chemo 2 walked the dog

    I had a very good day as I woke up very early so wrote my blog yesterday and then relaxed and had a good sleep in the reclining chair until 6am.
    Ray said he had come out to see where I had got to but I was sound asleep and I didn't know.
    After a leisurely breakfast and a shower I cleaned around again and lazed around until we took the dog for a long walk as I said on the Crab and Winkle Line.

  • Day 7 Chemo 2 Spring Flowers

    There are so many flowers out as my Maigolds, Periwinkle, Michalmas Daisies are all blooming again and my Spring flowers have all raised their leaves.
    We have a Hedgehog in the compost bin that keeps coming popping out as the dog is sitting looking for it for hours.
    The blackbird is flying around the garden from the nest in the tree where the Harvest Mouse lives. The weather really is changing, we ought to start growing…
