    Day 6 was a funny day as everyone was finding out about Poor Peters death and sending me lots of messages to say how they would miss the great man and yet I wasn't sad for him any more. It was a weird thing, as I had cried many tears when he emailed me saying he knew he was on his way out as the pain was so bad and they couldn't get it under control, but that was 2 weeks ago…

     My day started Ok as I had slept in (as I have today) waking at 5.30  but have had a great full nights sleep, it does make you feel so much better. The weather was colder and damper but Ok. I had a phone call from Jock as he had been to see Peter who has cancer and was in a hospice, I knew the end was near and Jock said how shocked he had been to see Peters condition.

  • Day 4 chemo 2 A better day.

    Today was a better day as the sun shone brightly, I decided to have a walk with my dog and Ray around the Park.
    Off I set very gingerly with my trekking stick and was getting along fine.
    Stopped to talk to my neighbour and was so surprised Des (her husband was home from St Thomas's already and he was doing so well.)
    That made my day, that he had got through his heart Op,  was home and he would be out for a little walk…

  • Day 3 Chemo 2 A wet Lettuce sort of Day

    All my friends have gone to Firework Rallies this weekend and I feel real left out.
    My MCC Kent Group are at Blackheath for the big firework display that happens every year. It is always such a great meet at the school there where on the Saturday you have all of Greenwich to visit and boat trips into the middle of London. I always go and have a great time.---not this year.
