Day 8 chemo 2 walked the dog

2 minute read time.
I had a very good day as I woke up very early so wrote my blog yesterday and then relaxed and had a good sleep in the reclining chair until 6am.
Ray said he had come out to see where I had got to but I was sound asleep and I didn't know.
After a leisurely breakfast and a shower I cleaned around again and lazed around until we took the dog for a long walk as I said on the Crab and Winkle Line.
It starts now in Church Lane Whitstable and you walk behind the Church on a lovely pathway but come out in South road by Tesco's so the best way is to Park the Car in Tesco's car park and walk round to South Road to the right until you reach the farm where a Gate is in the fence and a sculpture tells you its the Crab and Winkle line.
You walk on the path and it crosses over the Thanet way and onward and upward through Blean Woods.
These woods are very Ancient and covr miles of open land between Canterbury and the Coast
We walked in the sunshine but there were huge black clouds rolling in and you just knew it was going to become very wet.
We did the sensible thing and turned around and walked back to Tesco where the heavens opened and it bucketed down.
Leaving the dog in the car we did our shopping before we set off back home exhausted.
Unloaded the car and had a drink and lunch.
My breathing is so much better but I did feel pain in my back he!he!I still feel the nasty is being attacked and it is screaming and my ankles are just puffing a bit but I feel it happens when my immune system has gone right down again so I will take the water tablets today and keep the problem at bay.

When I had a little shut eye I  and said I would cook the dinner.
Rib eye steak and onions jacket potato tomatoe and swede it was lovely--there is nothing wrong with my appetite which has to be a very good sign.
I was so full I left the Rhubarb crumble for supper.

I always think that I'm fortunate that I do know so I can make it a happy time and we do have lots of happy moments .

I wish though that I could sleep through but then if catnapping is what seems to suit me then that's how it will be.

My neighbour said he got up and read a book so I come to the computer ---it is what suits each person.

So I will go now and try and have some more sleep and see what today brings --the weather forecast is for more rain-- really  heavy stuff so it might be a day of watching DVDs.

Fridays scan is getting nearer so I have to face either good or bad news so I'm praying for good of coarse.

My nasty has to have got smaller.PLEEZE!!!
