  • Day 4 Chemo 4 No Snow but so Icy

The snow has stayed away today but it has been very icy all day and so cold that I have no hope of going out.

I have spent the day so tired with no energy at all --this really isnt like me.

We got up and it was very cold so the heating has been on from early morning and I have been sleeping on and off all day. I put a large joint of beef in the oven to cook all day and when it has rested I will slice it up and freeze…

  • Day 3 chemo 4 Snow and Ice

It was a day to wake up to snow and ice which seems to bring everything to a halt.
Let the dog out but he didn't know what to make of the snow and it was to cold for me to stay and wait for him.
We were up early but had no intention of going out.
So we lazed around eat breakfast and watched telly.
Tidied up the place and Ray took the dog out but it was too Icy to go to far , the postman came, the gas man came…
  • Day 2 chemo 4 The Snow is on its way

Is this what we will wake up to??
It has been a day of me on the go all day, I cant sit still and relax.
I awoke 2.30am and had a coffee and went back to bed then awake at 5.30 so I got up and stayed up.
I was sick even after taking my tablets but then I have been ok all day.
Ray went to the Doc's to get the Swine flue jab and has made an appointment for me after Xmas which is in line for 19 days after Chemo so…
  • Day 1 Chemo 4 Boring day and snow

I wasn't in the mood for all the fluid and needles today, but then who ever is.
We arrived on time as getting there at 8.30 is easier as the roads are easier to travel on although it was very frosty and it had taken a long time to scrape the car windows of the ice.
I was called in straight away but my veins were even harder to find this time and so it was painful why the nurse was trying to find them.
    Then when…
  • Day 21 Chemo 3 A very frosty day

Well day 21 again so this journey is nearly over with the Chemo.
I woke at 7.30am and couldn't believe I had slept right through the night, after all the sleep I had all day yesterday.
I feel very emotional though, that I have to go through another session, as I know by Thursday I will be feeling very weak, sick and unsteady, that I will need a stick again to walk in the garden.

We woke up to a very heavy frost…
