Day 1 Chemo 4 Boring day and snow

1 minute read time.
I wasn't in the mood for all the fluid and needles today, but then who ever is.
We arrived on time as getting there at 8.30 is easier as the roads are easier to travel on although it was very frosty and it had taken a long time to scrape the car windows of the ice.
I was called in straight away but my veins were even harder to find this time and so it was painful why the nurse was trying to find them.
Then when she did it was in the right arm and right up by the elbow so I have had to sit all day with the arm straight as it cut the supply of if I moved.
I have spilt soup and coffee down me as I couldn't manage with my left arm and balanceing a tray on my lap.
A nurse came to give me more appointments but I said I had been told 4 would be enough not the 6 original thought.
My notes showed 6 and 4 so she looked on the computer and it states 4 then another CT scan on the 14th January which is what I thought.
She will ring me to confirm this on Friday.
I kept falling asleep and hope I hadn't snored as did the young girl by the side of me.
When Ray came in at 5pm he had travelled through snow but it had cleared by the time I got out at 6pm
Dinner was Beef stew for Ray and a Lasagne for me,  Apple Pie to finish---I think it will be early to bed Im shattered.
