Day 4 Chemo 4 No Snow but so Icy

1 minute read time.

The snow has stayed away today but it has been very icy all day and so cold that I have no hope of going out.

I have spent the day so tired with no energy at all --this really isnt like me.

We got up and it was very cold so the heating has been on from early morning and I have been sleeping on and off all day. I put a large joint of beef in the oven to cook all day and when it has rested I will slice it up and freeze it down in more manageable pack's for roasted dinners and cold meat over Xmas.

The Turkey is now in the freezer with a large Ham which means we are nearly there with all the food for the great day.

My younger brother should have visited but he is snowed in-- as the Medway Towns have really been hit bad with the snow. That was dissapointing but then I would have hated it if he had come down and then could'nt have got home again so I suppose it was for the best.

We will have to try to exchange pressie's next week before the big day.

In the afternoon I did manage to walk around the park with the dog in the Sun but I was wrapped up against the weather I really must look silly but I cant take any chances of the cold air getting into my lungs. It was nice just walking along slowly and getting some fresh air and exercise at last.

Ray has just taken the dog out but it is so Icy and a thick frost is covering the cars so another cold night ahead.

Was snowing here in wales when i got up this morning, but its all gone now.

Its freezing cold tho and iv had my heating on all day. Hubby went and done

the shopping i baked loads of mince pies,

soon warmed the house up. You be careful in this weather, although it keeps

the bugs away you are still wide open

for picking up a cold. Sleep is good for

you so just give into it, once your chemo

is over you will get your energy back.

Have a peaceful Christmas and everything you wish for

    With Love Lucylee. xxxx
