    Having had a rough couple of weeks, tearful, tired and not coping I met up with the group of ladies that I have been traing with and jogged 8 miles this morning. I feel so much better, back on track to make Ed proud, do the Beaverbrook 10k and the Manchester one, both in May to raise money for cancer research.     Tuesday morning and a support system of carers to tend to Eds needs moved quickly but too quickly for Ed I think. I had got upset when I woke as I momentarily forgot the situation and then , when the reality dawned that it was not a bad dream , I broke down and cried.     I look at the date but Im not scared. We got the news we expected, cancer back in small bowel causing blockage, no  op, maybe chemo if Ed can get a bit stronger but thats hard given his eating problems, put him on steroids. At least he takes his painkillers now but is still up, dressed and shaved everyday. In spite of it all we are filled with happiness at the thought of the wedding tomorrow.     Well the day has dawned, my 1st 10k and the nerves are terrible. Just wish there were no spectators,lol. i have prayed for cool weather all week and that has ben granted so that must be a sign all will be well.

    I dread weekends but at least the sun is shining outside and I think we will get through this one ok, fingers crossed. Macmillan nurse came yesterday and i made sure she understood Ed was not taking painkillers properly. he hasnt forgiven me yet! Still she got GP to write up prescription for slow release Oxy- Contin which he only has to take 9am and 9pm, also liquid version that gives immediate relief if needed. That…
