    Well it's a new year and time to think of new beginnings and of moving onwards. I have no idea of what the future will bring for me. I don't know how long more I will be around. Will I see another year in, the one after that... I don't know. The little blighter is still here and I have fingers crossed the tamoxifen will work at holding it at bay for a while.     Well it had to happen didn't it. 8 months of chemo and no real problems, okay lost the hair, a couple of bad tummies but nothing I couldn't handle. Got up and out every day, although 'tis true I did get out of bed later, and go earlier. Well, on Monday I had my first dose of zometa, my daughter calls it the zombie drug!   • hospital, school, that seems to be life at the minute

    Well it was yet another visit to the hospital today, I think it was my 12th since the end of July. As usual the clinic was running late, over an hour behind schedule. Settled down with my book. Now normally I can read anywhere and anything, but hospital waiting rooms  are one place that I cannot concentrate. So even though I read pages and pages, not much of the story line has sunk in! Eventually got to see the doctor…
