help: information please,womb cancer

    Hi all

    This time next week we shall know if mums cancer has spread.  She has had womb cancer, had all the treatment,surgery, chemo and Radio.  Went for Oncologist appointment a couple of weeks ago and after examining her the doctor said he coud feel a lump between her neck and shoulder.  So we have had a CT scan and the results are next Monday.

    Mum is coping but i'm not, how selfish is that!!!  I just cant bear it if…

    Hi all

    My husband treated me and mum for a night out last night to see a comedian at the theatre.  Mum didnt want to go as she is such a homebody and it was raining!!!.  Husband told her to get her glad rags on and curlers out and go and enjoy herself (think he wanted the house to himself !) and she did and what a wonderful time we had.  I had tears running down my face my stomach hurt so much with laughing and just to…

    hi,

    Mum diagnosed with womb cancer from smear test (which is quite rare), went for a colposcopy today (which i thought was for cervical cancer) and had  biopsy done She asked if she had cancer and he said yes.  Results will be next friday and treatment decided. dont know what will happen next, waiting the hardest.  Any advice? thanks

    hi, dont know if anyone can help or give advice.  In a nutshell mum diagnosed with womb cancer (from a routine smear test) last week,  hospital appointment this thursday,(from a phone call)  had no letter from hosiptal as what to expect where to go etc, co i called them today, was told mum was to go for a Colposcopy.  Spoke to a lovely nurse advisor from cancer research who said thats more to do with cerival cancer and its very…
