not coping

Hi all

This time next week we shall know if mums cancer has spread. She has had womb cancer, had all the treatment,surgery, chemo and Radio. Went for Oncologist appointment a couple of weeks ago and after examining her the doctor said he coud feel a lump between her neck and shoulder. So we have had a CT scan and the results are next Monday.

Mum is coping but i'm not, how selfish is that!!! I just cant bear it if it has come back so soon, she only finished chemo in January. Of course i will be there for her i just want to do more and i dont know what to do!!

I'm trying to be positive but its hard in my head i already know the results and i know what people will say until you get them you dont know anything.

Sorry for ranting i just needing to write things down, dont have many people to talk to.

Hi Bettiger,

Its true not even your Mums consultant will know the outcome until he gets the results back. No your not selfish, Caring,loving and supportive yes you are.

I hope When you get the results next Monday all will be well. Look after yourself and your Mum.

Hi betigger,

It is good to have a rant and let all the worry out. You are being very supportive to your mum and are doing all you can. We all wish we could do more for someone we love, but I am sure she knows how you feel and this will mean so much to her.
