I celebrated my 70th (Monday 20th) with my walking group today. with a good portion of  Chocolate and fresh cream sponge I brought for the occasion. Ya gotta replace energy used I even took some back home for My Good Lady, there were 3 slices left over. The walk was very good, a mix of newly laid footpaths, a narrow pathway through woodland, muddy in places, and the not so enjoyable pavement pounding by some busy roads…

With  BP reading of 130/80 from Tuesday, I had climbed quite a bit to 161/95. Quite a big jump, but I think there is no big problem. I find it hard to follow written instructions, viewing videos to follow is OK but learning the hard way I find is better for me. We took my father-in-Law on a cruise, January 2012, I'm now putting a big slide show on for him. He has his own computer, I gave him my old one some 3 years ago…

I had my 2nd implant this morning size 4 knitting pin, OUCH! I was asked if I might be interested in an alternativ as a smaller needle is used. I will be seeing my Consultant in 2 weeks time & see what he says. The implant is a capsule, the alternative is a liquid. Both work on a 3 month cycle it seems. I suppose the question is, should I 'swap boats in mid stream'? Ah well, soon find out, my Consultant must have had…
