    We came, we saw, we conquered, we completed (10) miles for Macmillan!

    On Sunday 5th August, James and I arrived in Lymm, Cheshire. (We'd driven up to Manchester the night before, after a brief stop-off in Ilmington.)

    We arrived early and met up with Chris (also from Macmillan's digital team). The sun was shining and the atmosphere was already incredible.

    Less than a week away and we are working our way up to a warm up challenge, a gentle race up the stairs (many many stairs). 

    Me and Jonah have decided to our warm up challenge should be the dreaded Albert Embankment Stair Sprint. After casually having a joke or two about it, this picture highlights the challenge before us:

    Thank you to everyone who gave their feedback in my previous blog post. We have decided to join the Cheshire Walk on 5th August as our first challenge.

    A month before the walk I will be changing my diabetes medication to a pump which is rather exciting, however to get use to it in time I need to do some training. There aren’t too many places for me to train and build up stamina in preparation for the walk. In light…
