I have just been through a CT Scan due to a recurrance just above the Tram Flap area from my first Breast Mastectomy and Reconstruction in 2010. This Scan showed two hotspots 1 in my womb and the other in my bones, So had an MRI and the news was that the Breast Cancer is now in my bones. Well the red blotches have not got any better, despite anti-biotics, special sterile washes etc. So spoke with Breast Care Nurse and had a fast appointment with the Breast Consultant.......... he took a biopsy from the reconstructed breast and it looks like it is also puckering a bit. So I have to wait till next week and go back for the results. Really could not go through all the treatments agaion as I am so drained…
Well over the weekend, I have been getting red blotches that are hot and stinging at the site of the original Breast Cancer. They are following a pattern around the tram flap to under my armpit and it's like join the dots. I know it is not a rash, and not an allergy as have not done anything different re diet, soap etc etc etc.
Just hope that it is not starting to break down as just had my last operation to get Ovaries…
