Haematology appointment was today. Bert has been having double vision for a while along with a personality change. I had my suspicion's confirmed. The Leukaemia has spread to his brain. He refuses to discuss anything with the Dr's so it is left to me. I decided that I did not want an MRI of his brain as there is nothing they can do about it anyway. New years day was the same as any other day for us Bert fell asleep on New Years eve at teatime and slept until 11 am he did wake twice for tea but never drank it as he was asleep before I got it upstairs. y his friend came round but he would not wake up until much later so he got to see his friend for 5 mins and fess asleep again while talking to him.

Well despite me not wanting it to arrive it's here. I can't sleep again Bert has been asleep since we came back from Haematology at 5pm yesterday. Because we went to the Panto on Wednesday he was exhausted. he has woke up twice for a cup of tea and fallen asleep before I have finished making it.
They Consultant seems to think that he will need a transfusion so he will need to go in on Sunday if that is the case…
