Bert was rushed into hospital in the early hours of Friday morning with a temp of 39.1 confused aggressive and scared. He most likely has an infection as his temp keeps going back up we are waiting on results of cultures to find out where it is. Bert had quite a bad fall last night. He lost his balance abd fell into the bath and got himself wedged in. I had to get a neighbour in to help me get him out. Now he is scared to go into the toilet in case it happens again.

Steroids made Bert completely manic and paranoid, it was a bit scary. He thought I was going to hit him then he was sobbing for ages, then he wanted to paint the bedroom and was out of bed in a flash ready to do it. He paced the floor for hours. My nerves were shot to pieces as he kept stumbling. He kept hanging over the top bannister to shout something downstairs I had visions of him going head first over the top.
