Hello I’m 49 and had breast cancer 14 years ago.Amongst other treatments was put on tamoxifen.Had irregular periods every year or so.In July had two bits of spotting but nothing else.About 3 weeks ago had bloated stomach and cramps and then 3 days of spotting.As I was going for yearly mammogram asked breast nurse.She was surprised I was still on tamoxifen and said stop immediately and arranged urgent scan .Had abdominal ultrasound and transvaginal scan which showed 13.1mm thickening of endometrium.Im still feeling tenderness and weakness in abdomen but no further spotting .I have hystersoscopy next Saturday.Im worried that it is endometrial cancer and that stomach issues mean it has spread.Can you have these symptoms without it being cancer or if it is a lower stage cancer?
