Welcome to the Womb group. I am sorry to hear of your diagnosis. 

I can understand how stressful it is waiting for the results of your scan. 

I would hope that as it was 2 weeks ago, that you should receive them very soon. It does vary between hospitals as to how long people wait but it is often just down to how busy they are. Waiting for longer does not mean that it is going to be bad news, just they haven't reviewed them yet. For me my initial ultrasound results came back within a few hours. My biopsy results took just over a week. My CT scan took a couple of weeks. My post op pathology took 3 1/2 weeks. So even with the same hospital it can vary.

At my hospital there was a MDT meeting every Thursday am and most results/phone calls happened after that. Your hospital MDT may be a different day but it may give an idea of when you will get yours. 

I am sorry to hear that the stress of waiting is causing you to have more epileptic seizures- perhaps it would be an idea to contact your GP today and mention this, in case you need a temporary increase in meds. 

I hope that you do not have to wait too much longer. In the meantime, if talking things through would help, then please do consider giving the Support line a call.

Hi oh no that’s a long time in my view I was also very worried etc and I had CT scan Thursday and  MRI scan on the Saturday and Monday evening the MacMillan nurse rang me to update me ! Have you tried to call them as they can access the portal and read it for you tell them how it’s making you feel plus epilepsy hope you get an answer today !! Xx. Lots of love 

Thank you I is doing my headin cause the person that done my mri said they should of had the results back that week as they are marked as urgent x

Hi I would be bombarding them with calls and tell them you need an answer today call the nurses xx do the GP have them ? Xx

I haven't got a macmillan nurse yet as my consultant said he was waiting for the mri results before referring me to oncology and macmillan 

Oh no in that case if it was me I would ring the oncology nurses get the number of switch board as he should have referred you and they will see your results of biopsy and scans on the portal

Shirleydana, I’m the same as you - I’d be phoning every day and making a nuisance of myself! 

I phoned the radiology department today that done my scan they said the it is with their consultant and he is double checking the scan before sending them over but should of been done at some point today, they also said if I don't here from my consultant by end of the day to phone them back Monday morning and they will phone my consultant to say the results are ready to look at
