Hi everyone. I was diagnosed last week with stage 1 womb cancer. My team say I’m the youngest person they’ve ever diagnosed with this type of cancer.
Has anyone had hormone treatment instead of a hysterectomy? They are determining if that is safe to have to try and preserve my womb in case I want kids.
would love to hear from you!
Hi ab418
Welcome to the Womb group. I am sorry to hear that you have had a diagnosis of endometrial cancer as such an early age.
There are a few ladies on here who have had the hormone treatments for different reasons and it is sometimes suitable if your cancer is at a very early stage and grade. I will pop a link with some more info.

There is also some info in the below link that you may find helpful.

At your age, naturally fertility is a concern so there is some general info here.

I remember how scary it was when I first had my diagnosis. If you feel like talking things through would help then please do give the Support Line a call.
I hope this helps a bit and that you get some answers soon from your doctors about the next step ahead. In the meantime we are here if you need us.
