Well I’m due for my pre op on Monday and Surgery on Friday, it’s been a roller coaster of emotions, went to my Gp the first week in February, which lead to my Diagnosis, I’ve been very fortunate my MRI and X-rays indicate my cancer hasn’t spread and I will have key hole surgery , I’m getting more nervous as the days go by but I know I’ll be ok x
Waiting for the MRI results was really hard , The relief was unbelievable and when the Consultant said I could have key hole surgery I felt even more fortunate, a couple of friends have had gallblader surgery, I’ve never even been in hospital , which in itself is lucky, thanks again feeling positive
Sending you positive thoughts. Just remember, this time tomorrow, you will be back on the ward. Probably feeling a bit groggy. Possibly feeling quite hungry. Definitely feeling tired. Take it easy.
All the best for tomorrow, keep us updated with your progress and know we are all thinking about you x
Thank you I’ll let you know how it goes x
Thank you so glad your recovery is going so well x
Thinking of you today and hoping the hospital has good free WiFi!
