Hi Knittynana, I’d suggest asking your CNS. I was desperate to have one as I don’t like showers but had grudgingly had one to wash off the pink antiseptic stuff. I had my results and check up two weeks post op and asked my consultant about a bath - the reply was that I could have a shallow quick bath in about a week, but literally just a few inches and a very quick dip. I didn’t have a “proper” bath till about 4-5 weeks post op and some women on here are advised to wait 6 weeks.
