Hi ladies
I had a dreadful night last night, excruciating pelvic and back pain which morphine wouldn’t touch, sweating freezing. Just wondered what peoples experience was after hysteroscopy & biopsy
Aimee xx
I had a failed hysteroscopy that failed through extreme pain when he couldn’t get the camera through BUT once it had stopped I had no more than a few cramps after and slight bleeding for a day or two. When I had it under general anaesthetic with a biopsy I had no pain after at all. So it’s not what I’d say would be expected and may not be connected to it. I’d suggest giving 111 a call as it’s the weekend.
Hi I was exactly like that last night I think I have got a viraL infection my sister and nephew exactly the same xx
Hi Aimee. I don't think you should be experiencing the sort of pain you're having. As MarmiteFan59 said, call 111 for help and more information.

hi Mrs14 i hope you rand 111, the pain shouldn't be as extreme as you are having. I had my 2nd biopsy 2 weeks ago and i just get a bloated feeling after with minimal cramps. I would go to A&E if the pain gets worse just so they can check you over, and resolve your pain. Sending hugs.xx
Thanks everyone. I’ve preserved with the pain as I feel like a burden going back and forwards. It’s eased a bit it’s now like a bad period, it was horrendous last night & this morning . Hoping for a relatively pain free night & a decent sleep

if it continues and you are going hot and cold please make sure you haven't got an infection. Take it easy, try to rest. Hope it gets better for you x
I agree with Decan6, better safe than sorry. I had 2 hysteroscopies, both under anaesthetic, and I didn't have severe pain after either time although I didn't feel great. Your experience sounds a lot worse so I suggest you get checked out. Lots of luck and I hope you soon feel better.
