Hi

Please share your experiece.

January 2021 : heavy menstrual bleed that required 4 blood transfusions. Since then had 2 inconclusive biopsies due to nsuffucient sample. Hysterscopy said inconclusive but found polyps and grossly thickened endometrium. Been on norethisterone to stop bleed, and iron tablets since Jan. On op waiting list for myosure, next gyny appt may 19th. Been on breakthrough light bleed for 6 weeks so far. Drs say thats ok.

Woke up yesyerday with grumbly period pains, took paracetamol. By lunch, tummy all hard and tight, whole of it ached. 2 more paracetamol.

6pm started having what felt like contractions, struggling to walk, took cocodamol.

By 930pm heavy contractioms and getting exteme pain. Partner rang 111. Expect an ambulance in a couple hrs to assess, busy friday nights etc.

Midnight, 2 cocodamol, nearly passed out wuth pain,  felt sick. Sweats and shaking. I ahve had 4 kids, this felt that back labour, bit i am not pregnant.

Then pain just went. Half hr later went tp loo, blood was weird. Stringy and pink. 15 mins later, went again as felt pressure, fiund something hanging out. Pulled out a fist sized bloody mass of biological material around 2am. In no pain whatsoever.

Slept til 6, woke wih cramps and flooding over bedsheets, got to the loo, passed another fist sized mass. Saved both in a plastic bag, in tupperware. Put in freezer. Use as biopsy sample?

Rang 111, someone will ring me within 6 hrs.

Anybody else pass their lining like this? What happened? I dont know if this is ok or not.

  • Hi Kitty Jemima I think that you need to go straight to A and E and take that sample with you.

  • Hi @Kitty Jemima. That's sounds dreadful. I totally agree with . Get to A&E and take one of the samples with you. I've not read anything similar before so get it checked out today.

    Sending you hugs, Barb xx

Hi, thankyou all for.your advice and messages.

111 rang back within an hr by a lovely lady who also rang a gyny unit to get info to help. As i was no longer in a high level of pain and bleeding has gone back to normal, i am to stay at home. If anything changes, got the gyny unit number now and if the bleeding starts to get heavy again, to call an ambulance.

Apparently it is not an unusual thing to happen so i am not to be alarmed?

But i hadnt been briefed it could happen, and i didnt even know my body would do contractions to expel a mass of its own accord. Apologies for not posting back sooner, tbh was very tired and went to bed just feeling sorry foe myself. Just slept and slept and slept.

Been advised to ring gp Tuesday and try and press dr again to push hospital into bringing my may 19th appointment forward, and also need to get another blood test done as lost alot of it fri night/ sat morning - as already anemic on 400mg a day.

Have a tender tum today and completely washed out. Body aches from all the tension fri night. Only needed paracetamol today and drinks.and.even more sleep.

Thankyou for thinking of me and sending guidance, really makes a difference Heart

  • Hi  . So glad to hear things are slightly back to normal and you're feeling a little better even if washed out - Golly, that's to be expected.

TBH I've never heard of anything like it but then this time last year I'd never heard of Endometrial Cancer.

Rest up and take things easy,

Sending you gentle hugs, Barb xx Hugging
