So I'm back again- had surgery in Jan 25, 6 months of chemo and immunotherapy, then I've been on 4 weekly iv immunotherapy plus targeted pills twice daily.
So having spent the greater part of the last year and a half recovering I know have to have major hernia repair from the operation site. Seen to surgeons who both agree that they will need to open up my 14" scar and do some magic to repair it. Meanwhile I'm trying to convince myself that it won't be so bad again - haha - at least I won't need chemo 4 weeks after this surgery.
Wish me luck - i think my family are getting fed up hearing me talk and worry about it!
Hello Half full cup
I am sorry to hear that you have developed a hernia post treatment and need further surgery.
I hope the surgery goes well for you and do let us know if we can offer any further support.
