So the CT scan and MRI scan are pointing to it being contained in my uterus, I do have a cyst on one kidney that they believe is benign and calcified nodules in my lungs but we believe these are from chickenpox pneumonitis from years ago that required life support.
It is range 3 they didn't mention the grade at all? Is that done once they have looked into lymph nodes? so the surgeon says a complete hysterectomy with robotic or open surgery they will discuss this in a meeting. They want to remove lymph nodes then probably give me radiotherapy. The lovely surgeon was very understanding and very clear, I have said yes do whatever is needed, i am 61 have grown up kids and four grandchildren that I want to see grow up some more, I know they have to give you all the info on risks but i believe they are worth it to stay alive, that is just my feeling's on my situation.
I had got myself into a real state thinking it would have spread, feel a bit better today knowing there is a plan, and now just have to wait for the phone call about the surgery date.
I think it is human nature to go into panic mode, I know I will be scared stiff on the day of the surgery but this has to be done so pull up my big girl panties and get on with it! I have a supportive husband and children.
