Hi I hope you are all doing well. I get my results from hysteroscopy tomorrow and with much trepidation, I'm trying to think of questions to ask? It's a video call in the afternoon and my daughter is going to be on it with me. Has anyone any advice to questions I should be asking?
Hi Annousks, when I was told my results and that it was cancer, I asked:
1. What type? (Mine was type 1, endometrioid)
2. What grade? (Mine was grade 1)
3. What happens next and how I will be contacted? (For me it was chest x ray and MRI, and I’d be phoned with the appointment)
The registrar who phoned me proactively offered the contact details for my CNS (cancer nurse specialist) for support and info - if this isn’t given to you I’d suggest you ask for it. The CNS has easy access to your consultant and your medical record so it’s very handy, and they were great for emotional support for me too.
Aw thank you so much for this , it helps a lot
