Hi all,

I read all your posts with interest. My lining was measured to be 6.5mm. My Hysterscopy by GA is booked for 24 June….i couldn’t tolerate as an out patient.

my question is about the pain I’m experiencing. I was originally referred due to a positive FITT test. I’ve been given the all clear for that. However, when doc took initial bloods I had a raised CA125. So I was then referred to Gynae. I have dull pain/ache on both sides of my lower abdomen. It is gradually increasing. Can than be caused by the thickening of the lining?

  • Hi Caroley, I started bleeding on Xmas Day, had couple bleeds since but I've had really sore pains ever since as you described.  I've had hysteroscopy , 4 weeks ago, and they took several biopsys and put in a Mirena coil, which I have to say has taken the pains away. My lining was 16mm, and gynaecologist says it looks suspicious,  I'm getting my results tomorrow,  much trepidation,  my daughter is going to be on the call with me, I'm not expecting good news.  My lining was thick and I'm pretty sure it was causing my pains as they're away now. Sorry for rambling. I'm so nervous for tomorrow. Hope your pains ease
