I was diagnosed hyperlasia with atypia in december 2024, i have been treated with mirena coil that was fitted in february 2025, my last biopsy in june 2025 was all clear,
However the past 2 weeks i have been experiencing bleeding and pain,
Unable to get in touch with my gynacologist apparently he is really busy, i should of had an appointment in january that im still waiting for
Went to my GP and i have been reffered for an ultrasound which is on monday
Im just wondering has anyone else had issues with the mirena after a long settled period, is it possible hyperlasia can return, i suppose i just need to wait for my ultrasound but just wondering anyone elses experience

I am sorry to hear that you are having bleeding and pain. You have done the right thing in getting it checked out.
I hope that the ultrasound on Monday brings answers.
There are several ladies on here who are currently using the mirena coil and hopefully one of them will come along soon to offer support.
