Well what a nightmare, full hysterectomy 8th April 2026
Open surgery, due to uterus being the size of a 4 month pregnancy, in hospital 17 night due to an infection in the wound area, on IV antibiotics 7 days.
Now home still on antibiotics, and having dressings on open wounds, also a dead tissue site
Its 3 weeks today, still feeling washed out, just waiting for wound to close and I still haven't had my cancer staged yet
Bless you. It sounds like you have had a really tough time. I hope that now you are home, you can begin to get better.
We are here when you need us.
