Hello all
Just wanted to let you know that I am one year post last treatment for stage 2 grade 3 endo cancer ( 48 when diagnosed). Anyway , been struggling with fatigue. GP not interested but luckily I have a RT late effects team, who listened to me so much more. To cut a long story short, I've found that I have an underactive thyroid and now on meds. Did a little bit of research and uterine cancer does have a link to underactive thyroid . So if you're struggling with fatigue, may be ask for bloods for thyroid x
Hi AL75
Thanks for sharing. Fatigue can be common after cancer treatment but can get better with time. Interesting that there is a link to underactive thyroid- worth knowing if any one is currently struggling with fatigue.
Hope the meds are now helping you.
