Dilators: another question

There seems to be a bit of variation between hospitals.

At the end of treatment I was told to use them during my 2 years of check ups. 2/3 times a week for short time. After the 2 years I was told once a week or less if I didn't have any issues.

I have never had any issues so I tend to use every now and then. I was 3 years post treatment last October.

Thanks. I'm seeing my oncologist on 19th so I'll try and remember to ask. 

I had an internal exam in October and it wasn't a problem so assuming they've done their job.

I was thinking the very same thing at the weekend! Although I’m not quite a year as yet, I was planning on asking at my next appt at beginning of March. I have read so many different time lines from different hospitals, one saying between 6 and 12 months, others saying 3 years.

I’m 4 years post op and still use mine very occasionally, but hardly at all the last year or so, usually just when coming up to my check up.
