A second menopause?

You are only 11 days from major surgery and it may well be a combination of things. It could well be due to the drop off of oestrogen however I would suggest taking your temperature just in case there is an infection brewing. Perhaps give your CNS/hospital a call?

If it is to do with hormones, It may be that given some time things will start to settle again. 

HRT is not routinely offered after endometrial cancer as any hormones could be a risk where the original cancer was hormone positive.

Well done for having had your op! How is your recovery going from the hysterectomy? How well are you feeling? I was just wondering if it might be possible that it could be a urine infection, for example? 

It makes sense to take your temperature in the day in case this is a sign of infection.  However I didnt get a lot of night sweats when I went through menopause and after my fibroid removal I've woken sweaty at night a few times. I dont have any infection and my bedroom is pretty cold, although I have a good duvet. So maybe it's not something to be too concerned about?

Get a bamboo nightgown, warm in winter and cool in summer. Mine look hideous but would be non see through enough for hospital and I like them. They do take an age to dry when washed.
