Hi
i had my third polyp removed 7 days ago and finally gave in and said yes to the mirena coil. I had both by GA.
this polyp had grown from 5mm to 20mm in 2 months Consultant said it looked okay but it’s been sent away for a biopsy results meeting and follow up booked for 4 Nov
I’ve had terrible period like pains all week and put it down to the coil
last night I noticed a couple of small pea sized lumps underneath by skin - just above the pelvic bone. I’m assuming they are swollen lymph nodes?
I feel exhausted still which has surprised me as I thought I should be okay by now
should I try and get a doctors appointment if these lumps are still there after the weekend?
I am a bit more worried this time as this is the third polyp and I think it grew quite quickly too!

Welcome to the Womb group.
I am sorry to hear that you are having pains after your surgery.
Have you got your discharge paperwork handy from the hospital? There should be a number to contact with any problems and as it is only 7 days I would suggest giving them a call- mentioning the pain, fatigue and these new lumps.
Alternatively you could give NHS111 a call for some advice. They will be able to advise whether you need to be assessed over the weekend or whether you are ok to wait until Monday.
