I finished chemo for womb cancer 4 weeks ago and this week received my bowel screening kit. As my Mum died of bowel cancer and I'm still being assessed for Lynch Syndrome I wasted no time in doing it and getting it back in the post. Fingers crossed it's OK.

Hi Sbird
I hope that you are starting to recover from the chemo. It can take a while.
Fingers crossed for the bowel screening.

Hi SBird
Glad to hear that you have finished your Chemo hope your feeling ok after it , and hopefully the bowel screening will come back clear. I was MHS6 deficient and am waiting to see genetics in August regarding if I have Lynch so although I am now clear of Cancer and 8 weeks post Brachytherapy I still don't feel that my journey is over until I get the results , when will you find out ? seems to be that different areas have different tests and time frames .
Linda
Thanks Linda. I got the initial results of the Lynch syndrome testing which came back as inconclusive so the genetics team have sent all my info/records to Guys hospital and apparently it can take up to 12 months.
I hope your genetic appointment goes well.
