Feeling low in mood, had my hysterectomy in April but following this i am very emotional
Hi Shz15
I am sorry to hear that you are feeling low in mood after your hysterectomy in April.
I know with me, everything can happen so fast when having a diagnosis and treatment for cancer. I know that when my treatment ended- it was the first time that I had a chance to process everything. It is normal to feel pretty emotional.
We do have the Support Line there from 8am-8pm everyday if you feel like talking things through would help.
They can also have a look to see if there is anything local to you which you might be interested in.
I did the HOPE course through Macmillan 6 months ago and found that helpful. I will pop a link in case you want to know more.

It may also be worth talking to your CNS to see whether any counselling may help.

Hi there
Sorry to hear you a feeling low.
I think sometimes things can feel like it's surreal. Like it's happening so quick, our emotions can't keep up with body changes.
Alot has happened and it's ok to feel low.
They say it takes time to heal emotionally too. You not on your own. It's good to talk how we feel.
Just take one day at a time.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
