Can anyone recommend a company. I have had womb cancer - I've had a hysterectomy and it has spread to 2 lymph nodes in my pelvis. I am currently on immunotherapy which is working- it has marginally srunk them Tada  I am classed as stage 4 cancer and I have got quotes from online companies and they start at £3000 for 2 weeks in Spain! I have not tried the ones from macmillan recommended yet but I wondered if anyone had any recommendations Pray

  • Hi I used Avanti - but now classed as cancer free. Thinks others have mentioned Staysure and Insurewith. Worth checking out ones that cover pre existing conditions? Good luck - I’m sure that you deserve a holiday!

  • Hi, so I’m in a slightly different position as I have had a hysterectomy and don’t need any further treatment but it was only in Jan/Feb.

so I rang around and finally chose Staysure and got an annual policy it wasn’t cheap but we are going to the USA which always doubles it.

all clear we’re also a company I tried and they would cover me but a bit more expensive

sine companies says a flat no

    hope this helps

  • Hi Ronny try a company called InsuranceWith. I have a good friend with stage 4 prostate cancer (has spread to his spine) and he’s on immunotherapy. He and his wife used them for 2 cruises last year and a trip to the Italian Riviera and will be using them again this year!

  • Hi Ronnie

I have just got annual  insurance from Insure and Go my circumstances are different as I have finished treatment and had no spread but it's worth a call they use UK call centres as well I had literally finished Brachytherapy the day before I got the insurance. Give it a go online to get a rough idea of cost and if they will insure, I did this and then rang to clarify as well they brought the quote up went through it with me very helpful. Hope one of the recommendations works for you.
