Hi I’m Just over 4 weeks post surgery and have been getting intermittent light headedness , my GP doesn’t seem too concerned but has ordered bloods , blood tests appointments at my surgery are like hens teeth so not seen til the 14th . Today I have felt mild dizziness all day has anyone else experienced this . Left a message with my Cancer Nurse but still no reply .
General update I was moved from 1A to 1B Grade 1 after surgery and start 3 sessions of brachytherapy after the Easter weekend at Addenbrookes in Cambridge . My only concern is I have a pre existing bladder prolapse which was managed well with a ring pessary (temporarily removed) and unsure if this will affect things.
Hope you are all enjoying the glorious weather !!
Hi Rethead
I am sorry to hear you are having some mild dizziness.
It's good that your GP does not seem overly concerned and blood tests are a good plan.
I recovered well from my surgery but I did have days, where perhaps I did over do things and sometimes just when things caught up with me that I did feel a bit out of sorts/light headed. I also felt like the anaesthetic took some time to get over.
Have you been doing more than normal perhaps. Or is there any different medication you have been taking. Drinking plenty.
If it increases or you are otherwise concerned then do get further advice.
I hope that your brachytherapy goes well. Perhaps speak to your CNS about the ring pessary when she responds to your message.
Jane
