Hello, following on from my previous posts - when I had the Carboplatin last year I didn't really get sick, only felt a little nausea at times. Only took anti sickness tablets couple of times but felt drowsy after so didn't bother but I have bought in Holland and Barratt ginger tablets called GIN.GINS and also was chewing on raw ginger which isn't vey nice but it worked.
Hi MHML
I found the nausea hard at times but never thought of ginger sweets to help. I did however eat ginger biscuits- the thin ones and found they helped. I still had the nausea meds though. If people are finding one type is not suiting them, its worth asking as there are different types and it took a while to find the best ones for me.
Glad you found something that helped.
Jane
