The wait for the biopsy results feels never ending. I was referred to gynae in Jan - non urgent following a lesion found on pelvic MRI for back pain.
Has ultrasound on17 Feb and was told I would need hysteroscopy. Contacted gynae to be told I had not yet been been triaged and could wait 50 weeks for hysteroscopy
I made appointment with private gynaecologist who did a pipelle biopsy there and then she said there was pus and so much tissue she wanted it biopsied urgently. Said I would hear in 7-10 days. Today is day 8. I emailed her secretary who only works part time and not in till Monday PM. I just feel frustrated and a bit let down. I’ve been back and forward to GP with erratic bleeding for 18 months and told it’s perimenopause. He even gave me progesterone to stop me bleeding for a holiday but didn’t bother to refer. I asked for c-125 test and was told no what if it comes back high?!? I have constant period like pain, discharge, clots. Still not been triaged by NHS although private gynaecologist said she would write but I imagine she is waiting for results.
Sorry for the long waffle like post. Just feel frustrated

I can understand your frustration and am sorry that you are going through this. it must be hard to cope with the constant pain, discharge and clots.
Hopefully you will get the results from the Pipelle biopsy at the beginning of the week. It sounds like your private consultant is on to it and will contact your GP once the results are back.
Whatever the results turn out to be, we will be here to offer you support.
